This year, I have a busy Easter holiday. Guess what did I do? Yes! I had a wonderful and meaningful trip! I had traveled to Shanghai for four days.
8th September, Wednesday, when I finished my lesson, I went home immediately. My parents and I rushed to The Hong Kong International Airport at three o’clock. Then, we left Hong Kong at five o’clock and arrived shanghai at seven o’clock. After that, we came to a street to have our dinner at nine o’clock. After we walked for a while, we went to our hotel and slept at once. What a busy, terrible day!
The second day morning, we went to Yu Garden. Yu Garden is a nice garden which has built in the most famous Chinese style . There are ponds, apavilions, bridges and old trees. They made me learn the culture of China. I love here very much. Next, we went to the Bund. We walked a long time, and we could see the Huangpu River finally. This is a popular attraction and there were many tourists who travel in this wonderful place. We took some photos and left there cheerfully. At last, we went to Xujiahui to visit my uncle. He was very generous and took us to eat the traditional Shanghai food! Shanghai food are very delicious, such as Chilled ducks tongue chilli, sweep fried spare ribs, sweet mandarin fish, steamed pigs knuckle, thousand mile fragrance, stir-fried peeled shrimps, steamed crab meat dumpling, cone-shaped Chinese bread with coarse grain etc. I love them very much too! I had a substantial and fantastic day.
The third day is most busiest . First, we went to Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. There are many facilities, we saw the 4D movies, and played a lot of things. We glanced at many exhibitions too. Next, we went to Shanghai Aquarium. It was a wonderful place and there were many fishes swimming there, like sharks, penguin, sea tortoises etc. Also, I learnt a lot of knowledge about living things and the ocean too. I think this is a meaningful Aquarium. Then, we went to the most famous hot spot-Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It's height 468 metres, and it is the highest observatory in Asia. It is near the Huangpu River. When my family saw the view from the observatory, we could see the beautiful and impressive city and river. I believe that you may love them very much. At last, we went to Shanghai main book store“上海書城”. We bought many books and DVDs there. Although I was tired, I felt very happy.
The last day, we went to Hongkou. There were many statues around the Luxun park, for example, Luxun(魯迅), Maodun(矛盾) and Dingling(丁玲) etc. We took lots of photos with them. Then, we came to Nanjing walking street. There are many big plaza and we could go shopping there. As my parents, they think there was a heaven; as me, I think there was a hell…… After went shopping, we went to Shanghai Museum. There’re many exhibitions in this museum. We learnt the history and the culture about Shanghai too. At five o’clock, we hurried to the airport and left Shanghai at seven o’clock.
I think this trip is tremendous and I will remember this wonderful trip forever. I am looking forward to my next trip too. Bye!
P.S.: I have to do my homework now. I haven’t do my homework yet! But......I'm sick!
